Clayton Kershaw must have thought it was the postseason already.  He gave up the go ahead bomb to Giancarlo Stanton and then proceeded to squat on the mound and take a literal dump.

How disrespectful is it as a MLB hitter to have a pitcher just lob a ball up there.  Sure he's trying to throw off the hitter's timing and catch him by surprise.  But as a professional I'd be offended by a 46 MPH.  You can't throw that little league fastball up here.

Not only in the ring department.  MadBum also owns Clayton Kershaw at the plate as well.  He took him deep for the second time today.  A pitcher taking another pitcher deep in ownership.

Clayton Kershaw took a selfie with a couple of ladies who rear ended him.  It could have been much worse for them.  Imagine if they had injured Kershaw in the accident.  There would be a lot of pissed of Dodgers fans if that had happened.

Welp.... I guess that's one way to end our spring training vacation ... But if you're going to get in a car accident......

That's going to leave a mark! Murphy's HR ball literally has his name on it. #Beast #LGM #Mets pic.twitter.com/u2Vl4LKjgb

The solo homerun Daniel Murphy hit off of Clayton Kershaw in game 1 was literally tattooed.  The Mets posted a picture of the ball on Twitter and you can see Murphy's name from his bat imprinted on the ball.  That's smoking a ball right there.

The Mets beat the Dodgers and Clayton Kershaw 3-1 in game 1 last night.  Because that's what Kershaw does, he loses in the postseason.

Dodgers manager Don Mattingly had a choice to make before the game, start Kershaw or Zach Greinke.  He went Kershaw despite his tendency to lose postseason games.

Not only does Kershaw lose in the postseason but Greinke had a better season this year and should have started.

Jacob DeGrom was lights out for the Mets making it a fairly easy win for the Mets.  That sense of calm carried into their post game interview where they messed with each other's chairs.

The Mets look really tough.

Clayton Kershaw was his normal regular season dominant self on Tuesday night, as he shutout the Giants.  The one hit shutout wrapped up the NL West for the Dodgers.

Kershaw looked very sharp as he prepares for the postseason.

Is this the year Kershaw takes his regular season success into the postseason?

Who knows why Don Mattingly removed Clayton Kershaw after 5 innings and 80 something pitches.  But he did and Kershaw was not happy at all about it.

At the time Kershaw was removed from the game the Dodgers were losing 3-0.  They scored 6 runs in the bottom of the 5th and got Kershaw his 15th win of the season.

It worked out for him even though he was upset.

Clayton Kershaw took a line drive off of the face in a spring training game today against Oakland.  The ball came off of a broken bat and caught Kershaw on the cheek as he was turning away from the ball.

Good news for the Dodgers and their fans, the ace left hander shook it off and was able to stay in the game.  Can't question his toughness.

Clayton Kershaw was pitching on 3 days rest and was rolling until the 7th inning when Matt Adams came up with two runners on. Adams connected with a breaking ball that sailed into the Cardinals bullpen putting the Cardinals up 3-2 a lead they would not relinquish.

The Cardinals are going to the NLCS to face the winner of the Nationals-Giants series

The Giants and the Dodgers were fighting for the NL West division title last night against one another.  The Dodgers pulled out a few tricks to win the clinching game 9-1.

Well maybe tricks is the wrong word, they made some great plays to clinch the division for the second straight year.

Clayton Kershaw was a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live and for some reason Kimmel wantef him to knock an apple off of his head.  So of course he had the Dodgers star pitcher throw baseballs at him.

They must have been some sort of nerf ball or something because Kershaw nailed Kimmel right in the face with one.

Clayton Kershaw was an error away from a perfect game.  The Dodgers' young left handed star made a bit of history with his 15 strikeouts as well, via LA Times:

"I'll remember this for the rest of my life," Kershaw said.

Never in major league history had a pitcher given up neither a hit nor a walk while striking out 15. The only pitcher with more strikeouts in a no-hitter: Nolan Ryan, the all-time strikeout leader.

As a pitcher whenever your mentioned with Nolan Ryan you're doing something right.  This was the first of probably many no hitters for Kershaw and it was as dominate as they come.
