Clayton Kershaw was pitching on 3 days rest and was rolling until the 7th inning when Matt Adams came up with two runners on. Adams connected with a breaking ball that sailed into the Cardinals bullpen putting the Cardinals up 3-2 a lead they would not relinquish.

St. Louis Cardinals first basemen Matt Adams was attempting to catch a foul ball when a Reds fan caught it first.  It was in the seats and the fan did nothing wrong.  Adams wasn't happy ans shoved the fan, the fan then gave Adams the finger!
