Clayton Kershaw must have thought it was the postseason already.  He gave up the go ahead bomb to Giancarlo Stanton and then proceeded to squat on the mound and take a literal dump.

Giancarlo Stanton is healthy and back hitting monster homeruns.  Too bad that they're still meaningless and the Marlins still suck.

Giancarlo Stanton smashed a huge bomb yesterday that might still be in flight somewhere.  Because nobody saw it land.

Giancarlo Stanton has unbelievable power and leads the majors with 26 home runs.  Too bad for the Marlins there isn't more guys on base when he homers, because they still end up losing.

The ball Stanton hit last night couldn't have traveled any farther than it did.  He hit a rocket that landed near the Florida-Georgia border.  An absolute missile on a hanging slider.

Giancarlo Stanton hit the longest home run at Citi Field today.  It was an absolute tape measure bomb that traveled 466 feet, breaking the previous record that he also set.

Of course long bombs are nothing new for the Marlins $300 million dollar man.

Giancarlo Stanton showed off some impressive jumping ability when he snagged a fly ball that was headed for the right field fence.  He crashed into the fence after making the grab, but seemed to be okay.

So he can play the field in addition to smashing bombs out of stadiums.  I guess $300 million isn't such a big price tag.

Giancarlo Stanton is a strong dude.  This absolute missile he hit out of Dodger Stadium proves as much.  He hit it so hard the left fielder didn't even move.  A no doubter as soon as it left his bat.

Giancarlo Stanton played a little defense against the Freddie Freeman and the Braves.  He was signed and is known for his big bat, but robbed Freeman of extra bases and an RBI.

Stanton wasn't happy with just the catch, he doubled up the runner at first too.  Great play by Stanton.

Giancarlo Stanton was hit in the face at the end of last season.  So this season he'll be wearing a half face mask.  He debuted the mask over the weekend in a little Marlins intersquad game.

Yes there is a G in the mask, presumably for the g in his first name.  It doesn't look like it will bother his vision and should protect his face from further damage.

Florida Marlins big priced superstar, Giancarlo Stanton appeared on this week's Sports Illustrated in body paint.  He got a little help from one of the SI Swimsuit models too.

Erin Heatherton didn't just help Stanton with his body painting, she also gushed at how good looking he is.  She was clearly impressed with his body.

Not a bad gig for the Marlins $300 million man.

It's official the Marlins have made Giancarlo Stanton the first $300 million dollar man.  They agreed to a 13 year contract with their slugging outfielder for $325 million dollars.  That's right, they've ensured that their team will be cash strapped and suck for 13 years, assuming he doesn't opt out of his contract after year 6.

Sure they might have some cash to spend but it will be very difficult land a big name free agent and pay them when you have a $300 million dollar man.  Especially when you have the past that the Marlins front office has.

Fox Sports is reporting that the Marlins are discussing a record deal with their big slugger, Giancarlo Stanton.  The deal would be a $300 million dollar 10 year deal.

The two sides are discussing a deal that would be for at least 10 years and at least $300 million, according to major-league sources.

Stanton's representatives also have discussed shorter contracts with the Marlins, and the mere fact that the sides continue to talk is a sign of progress, sources say.

I thought and wad hoping that the 10 year deals were over.  Leave it to the Marlins, a team that hardly ever keeps players for long periods of time, to keep the 10 year deal alive.

Giancarlo Stanton posted a picture of his injuries he received from the fastball he took to the face.

As you can see from the picture he appears to have lost a tooth and needed stitches in addition to the multiple facial fractures.
