Murphy's Law and Kevin Millar's curse were too much for the Cubs, even with Back To The Future on their side.  The Mets swept the Cubs!

Crushing lifelong Cubs fans hopes of a World Series and also crushing all of the phony Cubs fans dreams too.

One down, now the Blue Jays need to lose and my postseason will be complete.

Sorry Cubs fans the postseason misery will continue.  Sure you have Back To The Future on your side, but Kevin Millar picked the Cubs to win the World Series.

So the Cubs guaranteed not to win it.  I doubt the magic that Theo Epstein and Joe Maddon bring, even combined with the power of Back To The Future, is strong enough to overpower the curse of Millar's pick.

The curse might even be strong enough to take them out tonight.

Heidi Watney continues to rule the MLB Network.  She did her Ice Bucket Challenge on TV.  While we were hoping for a Jenny Dell type performance from the Quick Pitch host, this will have to do.

She called out fellow MLB Network host Kevin Millar and his fellow former Red Sox teammate and MLB Analyst Pedro Martinez.

Heidi Watney absolutely owns the MLB Network.  She's such a force that she can't be confined to just the show she hosts.  She's become a regular on another MLB Network show, Intentional Talk.

On Tuesday afternoon the Quick Pitch host was making one of her appearances on IT when she schooled the guys on the art of karaoke.

After their lessons IT co-host Kevin Millar just let a ton of compliments fly Heidi's way, as only he can.  She let it go for a minute and then set them straight by telling them to stop kissing her ass.
