What a gigantic pussy.  Josh Donaldson was crying after the game yesterday about a couple of pitches that almost hit him.  That's right, almost hit him.

Both Jose Bautista and Josh Donaldson left the game 1 loss to the Rangers with injury.  Bautista apparently tweaked something while Donaldson took a pretty good shot to the head.

Pete Rose criticized both players for leaving the game.  He isn't a fan of them leaving the game with injury.  You have to remember Rose played the game turned all the way up at all times.

I'm with him on the Bautista "injury" unless he tore something or broke a bone he needs to be out there.  Donaldson, on the other hand, is a little more understandable.  He took a pretty good shot to the head.

Josh Donaldson is doing it all for the Blue Jays this season.  He's truly having an MVP type season and it's not just at the plate.

Last night Donaldson scored on a pop up to shallow center that was caught by the second baseman.  It was a very aggressive play that required a great slide in order for him to score.

How did the A's let him go?  I guess those sabermetric geniuses don't know what they're doing.  Not only have they not won anything, they let MVP caliber players get away.

The Blue Jays put together an All Star lineup that hits a ton of home runs.  They have a lot of hitters that do some diving over the plate.  But don't throw inside because if it's too close to them or hits them they'll cry about it.

During today's game against the Royals Josh Donaldson was hit with a pitch thrown by Edinson Volquez.  He also had a couple of high and tight pitches keeping him honest in his later at bats.

Clearly the Royals strategy was to keep him from diving over the plate.  But he wasn't a fan of it.  Basically crying like a baby about the high and tight pitches.

For the second straight start Blue Jays pitcher Marco Estrada took a no hitter into the 8th inning.  This one was a perfect game.  He of course had help from his defense including this catch by Josh Donaldson.

Donaldson flew into the stands to make a hell of catch for the first out of the 8th inning.  The next batter would get and infield hit on a slow chopper to Donaldson to end the perfect game, but it doesn't take away from the incredible catch.

If anyone saw the Manny Machado hissy fit this weekend and took his side then you're an idiot.



Machado was upset when he was tagged by Oakland A's third baseman Josh Donaldson, on what seemed to be a routine play.

Routine that is until Machado, who fell down on the play jumped up and slammed his helmet in Donaldson's direction.  Not upset that he had been tagged out, no instead upset at what he thought was too aggressive of a tag.

That should have been the end of his little tantrum, but it wasn't.  Because in Donaldson's next at bat he was hit with a pitch.  So his Orioles teammates agreed with Machado's outrage.

Now of course the benches cleared and by the end of the night nobody was happy.

It's as much pure athletic skill as it is greasy, oily mullet!  Josh Donaldson ran for days after a foul ball and made a great diving catch towards the stands and between the tarp and the wall.



Oakland is probably the only place that he could have run that far and still not made it int the seats.  I mean the foul territory in Oak town is ridiculous.
