A's Drop 4 Straight to the Angels

The A's are now 12-17 since trading their best hitter, Yoenis Cespedes, to Boston for Jon Lester and Jonny Gomes. They just dropped 4 straight to their division leading Angels and are so desperate for some power they've traded for Adam Dunn.

Billy Beane's gamble that he could trade his clean up hitter for an ace doesn't appear to be paying off. He has to be personally upset considering he sold out on his "moneyball" philosophy to pull of the trade.

Beane, like the rest of the world, finally figured out that "moneyball" doesn't win the World Series. But he made a really questionable trade and the A's are paying for it.

If the A's don't make it to the World Series, and my money is they won't, then it's time to fire Beane. If they don't make it to the World Series and the A's don't fire Beane, then he can't be fired.
