Taj Gibson was mauled as Kobe Bryant stole the ball from him.  His natural and appropriate response was to turn to the referee and ask an honest question, "what the fuck?"

Blake Griffin was given a flagrant 2 and ejected for blocking Taj Gibson's head.  It does look pretty bad.

But maybe Blake made an honest mistake and thought Gibson's head was the ball.  He certainly reacted like he didn't mean to hit Gibson in the head.

Taj Gibson and Matthew Dellavedova got tangled up on the ground.  As Gibson was getting up Dellavedova locked his legs around his.  Gibson responded by kicking him off of his leg.

You're not going to get away with that kind of contact in today's NBA.  Gibson was ejected.
