After Jake Arrieta was hit by a pitch the two NL Wild Card teams got together to talk about it.  Arrieta hit two Pirates with pitches earlier in the game and I guess the Pirates decided to even the score.

For some reason Sean Rodriguez was the most upset guy on the field.  Maybe it was the fact that he was pinch hit for before he got an at bat.  Either way he was ejected from the game and then beat up a water cooler.

Cute headband slugger.

There was a rain delay during the Pirates game last night that required the tarp.  That was easier said than done.

The wind picked up as the grounds crew was putting the tarp down and a member of the grounds crew was swallowed by the tarp.  Lucky for him Andrew McCutchen and Sean Rodriguez witnessed the whole thing.

The two Pirates came to his rescue as did their teammates.  They not only rescued the grounds crew member, but they assisted with getting the tarp under control and laid out.

The Red Sox took up issue with a 7th inning swipe of third base with the Rays up by 5 runs.  The Red Sox dugout had their panties in a wad following Yunel Escobar's steal of third base.  Escobar returned the verbal fire and all hell broke loose with both benches clearing and a big boy shoving match ensuing.

With the loss of Sunday's game the Red Sox have lost 10 games in a row and look nothing like the team that won the World Series last season. Yunel Escobar, Sean Rodriguez and Jonny Gomes were all ejected when things calmed down.
