The Wizards Were This Close To Forcing Overtime
Paul Pierce hit some huge shots all series long against the Hawks. This too would have been one of those huge shots. But his game tying buzzer beater to force overtime was waived off because the ball was just in on his finger tips when the clock hit 0.
Did the refs get the call right? Is the ball still in his hand? They were this close to forcing OT and possibly a game 7.

Paul Pierce Didn't Call Bank, He Called Game
Paul Pierce was asked by fan boy Chris Broussard if he called bank following his game winning shot. Pierce had the perfect response. He said, "I called game!"
Paul Pierce Hits Game Winner At The Buzzer, Wizards Up 2-1
Paul Pierce is still getting it done. The Wizards almost blew a game that they were winning almost from the tip. Without John Wall due to injury the Wizards were able to take game 3 and go up 2-1 in the series.
Pierce, who has plenty of playoff experience, wanted the ball with the clock running out and he nailed a difficult deep two for the win.

Paul Pierce And The Wizards Are Supporting The Caps
Paul Pierce and his Wizards teammates scored some pretty nice tickets to the Islanders-Capitals playoff game. They were clearly supporting the Caps and Pierce was even spotted smacking the glass.

LeBron Used A Stiff Arm To Get To The Rim
LeBron James forgot he played in the NBA and not the NFL last night. He threw a textbook stiff arm on Paul Pierce on his way to the basket. At his size it's probably hard for him to forget that he's not a running back.
Lmfao he stiff armed him 😂😂 pic.twitter.com/mwM61do0vR

Drake Grabbed Paul Pierce's Arm On Late Game Inbounds Play
With his team up by two and the Wizards set to inbound the ball Drake thought it would be a good idea to grab Paul Pierce's arm. Anyone else would have been tossed out on their ass. But the Canadian born Drake is the Raptors ambassador to something or another.
I guess that means he can grab opposing players by the arm during the game. Enough with Drake already and all of his bandwagon hopping and enough with Canadian basketball too. Lets kill two birds with one stone here.

Paul Pierce And Joakim Noah Get Into One Of Those NBA Fights
New Washington Wizard Paul Pierce and Chicago Bull Joakim Noah got into a little preseason disagreement, one of those NBA fights.
Most of the time this is how fights in the NBA go down. Someone does something the other person doesn't like then they put their hands up like they're about to fight but back away at the same time.

The Heat Take Care of the Nets, Are Pierce and Garnett Finished?

The Miami Heat, as expected, took care of the Brooklyn Nets in a close game 5 to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals. After the game the focus for Nets media was on aging veterans Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett.
Garnett didn't help matter leaving the arena without speaking to reporters and his future is not certain at this point. He is clearly at the end of his career, but was this his last game? We'll have to wait and see.
Pierce on the other hand indicated he has 1 or 2 more years left, but that they may not be in Brooklyn, via ESPN:
"I haven't really put much thought into it," Pierce said of what his future holds and if he wants to remain a Net. "I put my whole focus into this season, it's my last year of the contract. I will sit back and talk to the family and see where my options are from there and go from there."
Pierce, 36, will be an unrestricted free agent this summer and the Nets own his Bird Rights, which allows them to offer him more money than any other team.
"I think I still have something in the tank I can give a team," he added. "Maybe one or two (years) at the most."
If the money is right he'll be back in a Nets uniform, but the money could be right some where else and we may have seen the last of KG and Pierce on the floor together.

Paul Pierce Mic'd Up For Playoff Game
Paul Pierce was mic'd up for the first playoff game against the Toronto Raptors. Pierce, who was clutch down the stretch, was caught on the mic saying, "That's why they got me here."
That must have been true as the Nets did benefit from his shooting at the end of the game 1 victory.
