In an interview with ESPN the Magazine, Josh Norman talked about Roger Goodell, the Redskins team name and his time in Carolina.  He called his former teammates a "dictatorship."

The Redskins have overpaid another free agent giving 28 year old Josh Norman a $75 million deal.  That is an absurd amount of money for a guy who only has one season of shutdown corner under his belt.

It looks like Josh Norman might have wanted to stay with the Carolina Panthers.  According to Ian Rapoport, a day after the Panthers rescinded their franchise tag offer he hired a new agent.

I would say hiring a new agent the day after you get dropped is a pretty good sign that Norman wasn't happy with his representation.  You've gotta love an agent that doesn't know what their doing.

As much as not getting a deal done with Josh Norman sucks if you're a Panthers fan, like I am, you have to trust Dave Gettleman here.  The dude has made nothing but the right move since he came to Charlotte and until he screws something up he should get the benefit of the doubt, via Panthers.com:

"After a number of conversations with Josh’s agent we realized that a long-term deal was not attainable," general manager Dave Gettleman said. "We have decided to rescind the Franchise Tag freeing Josh to immediately become a UFA. We thank Josh for all his contributions and truly wish him well."

Sounds like Josh made it clear that he wasn't going sign the franchise tag and drew his little line in the sand.  He should have known Gettleman wasn't going to play games.

Someone will overpay Josh and he won't play at the level he did this season ever again.

Josh Norman and Von Miller were the players selected from this year's Super Bowl to play video games with Conan.  Special guest Marshawn Lynch also stopped by, because he's not doing anything right now.

Josh Norman torched Panthers hater and overall moron, Rodney Harrison, over comments Harrison made about intentionally injuring Cam Newton.

If you didn't know any better you would have thought that the Super Bowl Opening Night was all about Deion Sanders.  The NFL Network had their guys front and center asking dumbass questions.

Josh Norman is going to be one of the Panthers who will be front and center for the Super Bowl and that's fine with me he's entertaining as hell.  As you can see from his postgame interview with Ed Werder.

Josh Norman gave you the saying of the week when he was talking about hater Roddy White.  "If you don't have haters you're not poppin" is my new favorite saying.

Who does Roddy White think he is?  The Panthers just stomped the Falcons 38-0 a couple of weeks ago.  And he's running his mouth?

You're team didn't even score and you only had 4 catches for 35 yards.  And you call out one of the best corners in the game?  Get out of here with that bull shit.

Is this dude serious?  Are people actually believing that Odell Beckham Jr. was threatened by a mystery Panther in street clothes with a bat?  And then the bat was given to Josh Norman.

I guess that made Odell shit his pants or something.

What was Norman going to do?  Run to the sidelines and get the bat and bring it on the field with him?

That's one of the dumbest things I've ever heard.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, a suspension of Odell Beckham Jr. is being discussed by the NFL.  The NFL league source told Schefter a one game suspension is likely.

It looks like Beckham's behavior is going to hurt the Giants in two games.  Imagine if he would have controlled himself and just lined up and played.

We learned absolutely nothing about how good Josh Norman is because ODB refused to line up and just play at the beginning of the game.

Well we did learn one thing about Norman, he's got one hell of a chin.
