Jason Whitlock is filling in for Colin Cowherd on The Herd.  He talked about Peyton Manning and absolutely torched him.  He called him overrated and said he enjoyed watching Peyton struggle.

Whitlock also said given Manning's postseason track record it would be insane to bring him back to play in the postseason.

Ray Lewis claimed that because of deflated balls during the AFC Championship game the Patriots deserved an asterisk next to their Super Bowl victory.  Never mind the fact that deflated footballs provide no advantage at all.

Not to mention the fact that Lewis was alleged to have actually cheated by using deer antler spray, a banned PED.  Following Lewis down the Patriots cheated path is Jerry Rice.  Once considered the best wide receiver to ever play the game.  Now an admitted cheater himself.

Rice admitted to using stickum during his career.  A career that earned him three Super Bowl rings with the 49ers.  Stickum was banned in the NFL in 1981.

All of those now Super Bowl victories now need an asterisk.  Two of the three rings Rice earned were with Joe Montana as the quarterback.

That means two of his four Super Bowls are now tainted with actual cheating and must have an asterisk if this Patriots Super Bowl deserves one.  Here is Rice admitting he cheated.

Tulane quarterback and son of NFL Hall of Famer Joe Montana, Nick Montana, spiked the ball on 4th down at the end of the first half.  Clearly the young Montana has a long way to go if he wants to be as good as his father.

In his defense, Montana did think it was first down.  The spike came after the 3rd down play was spotted short and he thought he was killing the clock on first down.
