David Price Gave Up 8 Earned Runs In 3 2/3 Innings

Not much to be happy about early on for Yankees fans.  So I'll get my joy from Red Sox failures.

Today David Price lasted just 3 2/3 innings giving up 8 earned runs in a Red Sox loss.

The Red Sox Big Offseason Signings Shit The Bed

The Red Sox home opener was spoiled by Chris Davis' huge three run bomb off of Craig Kimbrel in the 9th.  An absolute thing of beauty that was the cherry on top of David Price's five innings of five earned runs.

The Red Sox Are Buying Players Again, Throw Over $200 Million At David Price

The Red Sox have signed David Price to a 7 year $217 million dollar deal.  But it's okay because it's the Red Sox and not the Yankees.  Everyone would be bitching and complaining if the Yankees signed Price, claiming they buy all their players.

Well what the hell do you call this?

There is reportedly no deferred money, so he'll be raking in over $30 million a season and around a million dollars a start.

ESPN can barely contain their erection.  All of the highlights they've been showing while talking about the deal show Price pitching against the Yankees.

Go to hell ESPN!

Mike Moustakas Hit A Homerun Off Of David Price In Game 6

Postseason David Price is in the building and that's not a good thing if you're a Blue Jays fan.  The Royals lead the series 3-2 and the last thing they need is postseason Price.

Price has given up a homerun in each of the first two innings of game 6.  The second blast came off of the bat of Mike Moustakas and had a little help from a fan in center.

After review the home run stood and so did the 2-0 lead.

Is That Pine Tar on Your Hat or Are You Just Happy to See Me?

David Price pitched seven strong innings for the Tigers leading them to a 12-1 victory over the Indians. Some couldn't help but notice a substance on the under side of the bill of his hat.

Is that pine tar? Some believe it to be.  Have a look for yourself and decide.

David Price Traded Day After He Thought the Trade Deadline Had Ended

David Price was the Detroit Tigers counter move to the A's picking up Jon Lester.

Acquiring Price now gives the Tigers the last three CY Young Award winners in the same rotation.

Given that the A's parted ways with their cleanup hittet you have to feel the Tigers move was the better one.

Should make for an interesting end to the season.

David Ortiz is an Ass

Don't believe me?  Take a look at this home run he hit.

Still not convinced?

The Rays and Red Sox Go At it Again

The two teams on the bottom of the AL East went at it in Fenway on Friday night.  The Red Sox proved how they're nothing more than a bunch of pussies.  David Ortiz and Mike Carp got hit by David Price fastballs and for some reason the benches cleared.

Price certainly didn't seem to be throwing at the second guy he hit, Carp.  So I'm not sure why the Red Sox got so pissed off.  Just because the benches were warned doesn't mean the next guy to ht a batter is ejected.  It has to be on purpose.  When Price hit Ortiz that could have been on purpose, but it hit his big dumb ass on his ass.

Cup Check: David Price Takes a Line Drive Off Of His Cup

David Price shows everyone why you should be wearing your cup.  In the fourth inning of what turned out to be a complete game victorty, Joe Mauer hit a line drive back to Price that hit his cup.  Would have been a lot worse had he not been wearing his cup, via Fat Man Writing:

Game 163 Happened

Game 163 was needed this year to decide the final wild card spot in the AL.  The Tampa Bay Rays rode the left arm of David Price who pitched a complete game while only allowing 2 runs.  The Rays took the game 5-2.  The fantastic start by Price not only got them into the postseason but rested their bullpen for it.
