Aroldis Chapman Liked An Instagram Post Calling Joe Girardi "A Complete Imbecile"

Aroldis Chapman liked a post that not only called Joe Girardi a complete imbecile, it also says let's hope his contract isn't renewed.

Getting rid of Girardi is well overdue.  He's a terrible manager and the Yankees success has absolutely nothing to do with him.

I love the move by The Cuban Missile.

Fuck Brian Cashman And Fuck The Yankees For Selling

If you're a Yankees fan and you're happy about them giving up at the end of July then you're a fucking idiot.  They traded Aroldis Chapman, Andrew Miller, Carlos Beltran and Ivan Nova.  All for a bunch a prospects and shitty players like Adam Warren.

Get The Paper Bags Out The Yankees Traded Andrew Miller

The Yankees sent Andrew Miller to the Indians for 4 prospects.  If the Chapman deal wasn't all you needed to know about the Yankees new approach then the Miller trade should be all the education you need.

MRI Reveals Andrew Miller Has A Chip Fracture In His Wrist

Son of a bitch!  The Yankees three headed bullpen monster might be down to one head to open the season.  We already know Chapman has been hit with a 30 game suspension.

Now Andrew Miller could open the season on the DL.  He was hit with a line drive on his right wrist and an MRI revealed a chip fracture.

This would be a huge fucking blow to what was supposed to be the Yanks strength this season.

Aroldis Chapman Will Not Be Charged In Domestic Violence Case

Aroldis Chapman will not face domestic violence charges.  That doesn't mean he won't be punished by Major League Baseball for the incident.  MLB is currently doing the own investigation and this, along with a couple of others, will set the tone for future domestic violence incidents involving MLB players, via NY Post:
“When you have a new policy, the first ones take on a special significance in terms of tone and precedent and all those things,” Manfred said Thursday at the MLB quarterly owners’ meetings. “I’m going to make sure that I know everything I could possibly know about each of these cases before I make any decisions.”
I would be shocked if Chapman didn't end up with a multiple game suspension.

Domestic Violence Incident Holding Up Aroldis Chapman Deal

Details of an October domestic violence incident involving Aroldis Chapman and his girlfriend have come to light.  Yahoo Sports is reporting that Chapman choked his girlfriend and fired a gun.
Cincinnati Reds closer Aroldis Chapman allegedly fired eight gunshots in the garage of his Miami-area home following an October argument with his girlfriend in which she told police he “choked” her and pushed her against a wall, according to police reports obtained by Yahoo Sports.

No arrests were made after the incident, in which more than a dozen police officers were dispatched to Chapman’s home in Davie, Fla., around 11 p.m. on Oct. 30. Chapman’s girlfriend exited the house and hid in bushes following the argument that stemmed from something she found on Chapman’s cellphone, according to the police report.
The incident is reportedly holding up the trade of Chapman to the Dodgers from the Reds.  Not a good look for him with when choking allegations and gun use are involved.

Yet another incident involving a professional athlete and domestic violence.

Enrique Hernandez Fell Down Swinging At An Aroldis Chapman Fastball

Enrique Hernandez swung as hard as he could at this Aroldis Chapman fastball.  It didn't help, he still swung and missed.

Hernandez also ended up on the ground after his super aggressive swing.  If he would have hit it all would have been forgiven.

He didn't and he ended up looking silly.

You don't have to swing as hard as you can to make contact with Chapman's fastball.

Brian McCann Adds Another Way to Walk Off

A tie game between the Yankees and Reds in the 9th turns into a walk off victory for the Yankees and an embarrassment for the Reds.  Brian McCann hit a weak pop up behind first base, with a runner on third and one out in the 9th, off of Aroldis Chapman.

Out number two right?  Wrong the ball drops between the right fielder, second and first basemen and the runs scores.

Aroldis Chapman Throws Two 100 MPH Pitches Near Batter's Head, Sparks a Bench Clearing Shoving Match

In the 9th inning of tied game between the Cubs and Reds Aroldis Chapman had a couple of fastballs end up near the head of a Cubs batter.  The Cubs and especially Anthony Rizzo took exception to that fact, but in a tie game in the 9th, I doubt Chapman was throwing the ball at the hitter.

So a bench clearing shoving match took place because Chapman and Rizzo couldn't let it go.
