Young Atlanta Braves outfielder Eury Perez tried to make a diving catch like Andruw Jones used to back in the day.  He almost made the catch.  In fact he was so close he thought he made the catch.

During the dive his glove kicks to the side and the ball popped out.  So close to a nice catch, but at the same time so far away.

Sam Atwell a senior at Trinity Catholic high school in Ocala, Florida made an amazing catch to end a game.  But it wasn't just any game it was a 2-1 game in Florida’s Class 4A State Baseball Tournament.  Atwell covers a lot of ground before he fully extends and makes an incredible catch.

This isn't one of those Andruw Jones (while he was with the Atlanta Braves) catches where he would slow down so that he could dive.  No this kid is running full speed and the only way to catch it is to dive, great catch.
