Papa John's has removed founder John Schnatter as its CEO.  The move comes after sales have taken a nose dive for their partnership with the NFL and his criticism of the National Anthem protests.

Schnatter will serve as chairman, but that probably means no more commercials with Papa and his buddy Peyton Manning.
