Philadelphia Phillies 27 year old rookie Brock Stassi called making the opening day roster "a dream come true" as he fought back tears.
It wasn't an easy road for Stassi, via FTW:
“I always believed in myself. I always had confidence that I would work hard,” said Stassi, who was drafted by the Phillies in the 33rd round in 2011. “When I was in high school, I wasn’t recruited to go to college, and then late pick, so a lot of confidence. It was always my end goal. I never doubted myself ever.”
