Former Redskins quarterback and current lunatic Joe Theismann was a guest on The Jason Smith Show and absolutely trashed Cam Newton over tiegate.  He quickly went from dress code to trashing his ability and even got personal calling him a "spoiled brat."


Among Theismann's complaints was that Cam Newton doesn't throw the ball well, despite Can having a higher career completion percentage than Theismann does.  He then went with old school code words on black quarterbacks, "he's an athlete" who "runs exceptionally well."

Theismann wrapped up his criticism of Cam's ability as a passer by saying he doesn't throw well from the pocket, which is a pretty lazy assessment of a quarterback who can run.  Because Cam does the majority of his passing from the pocket.

Cam has struggled this season and his completion percentage has dipped below his career mark, but he's completes close to 60% for his career.  He has also thrown more touchdowns than interceptions in every single year he's been in the NFL.

A guy who can't throw from the pocket doesn’t do that you fucking moron.  Fuck Theismann and his short leg.
