Without an obvious screw up I can never tell what a good dive is.  They pretty much all look good to me.  How can you really tell the difference between like a 6 or an 8?

Thanks to Snoop Dogg I now have a way to score a dive.  If they go in and can't be seen behind his blunt, it's a perfect dive.
