Another Game Ends On The Chase Utley Rule

Two games in one week have now ended on the new "Chase Utley" sliding rule.  Baseball is a fucking joke now.  Not that it wasn't already headed there with spin rate and exit velocity.

This rule has changed the game.  It's not a simple rule to protect the players.  This play happens in every single game, somtimes multiple times, and very few times does it result in injury.  Yet the MLB has stepped in to claim player safety.

What a bunch of bullshit.

I hope players continue to ignore the rule and force MLB to throw it out.  This rule is very quickly proving that it sucks.

This isn't baseball anymore.  John Gibbons is right, they might as well be wearing dresses.
