Why is the media still insanely pushing deflategate?  Why are players claiming that there is an advantage to deflating a football?  And why in the world is Mark Brunell crying after Tom Brady's press conference?

Especially when this video from Sports Science debunks the thought that a deflated ball gave the Patriots an advantage.

Let us not forget that the Patriots scored 28 of their 45 points in the second half after the footballs had been discovered to be low on air and were filled back up.  Or the fact that Brady's second half numbers were better than his first half with deflated footballs.

Also LaGarrette Blount had 30 carries for 148 yards and 3 touchdowns.  Were those stata the result of a deflated ball?  Come on give me a break.

Is it an NFL rule?  Yes.  Does breaking the rule give you an unfair advantage?  No.

It doesn't matter what Michael Wilbon, Stephen A Smith or Troy Aikman's dumbass thinks.  Deflategate is over, lets talk about the Super Bowl.

According to ESPN's Chris Mortensen, 11 or the 12 footballs the Patriots had in the AFC Championship were underinflated:

The investigation found the footballs were underinflated by 2 pounds per square inch of air less than what's required by NFL regulations during the Pats' 45-7 victory over the Indianapolis Colts, according to sources.

Clearly the underinflated balls led to a 45-7 finish.  It also led to the Colts giving up 148 yards of rushing and 3 touchdowns to LaGarette Blount.  Everyone knows a lighter ball means you can't tackle running backs.

The notion that underinflated balls gave them a huge advantage is ridiculous.  Not to mention the fact that other teams are messing with the air in the balls.  They talked during the NFC Championship about how Aaron Rodgers likes the ball overinflated.

This is just another example of people hating on the Patriots.  Michael Wilbon went as far as to say the Patriots should be removed from the Super Bowl.

Get a grip people.

LeGarrette Blount and Le’Veon Bell were both arrested for weed.  The running back duo of Cheech and Chong were pulled over after a motorcycle cop smelled marijuana coming from the car.

This is probably how it went down.



The cop found 20 grams of the wacky weed and both men were arrested.  Bell, who was driving, also faces DUI charges.

It all started when LaGarrette Blount congratulated former Aqib Talib on his new contract.  Blount referred to Talib as the beast corner in the game, which didn't sit well with Richard Sherman.

The fun however didn't stop there.  DeAngelo Hall got into the fun by also questioning Sherman's claim as the best since Sherman only covers one side of the field.  The same argument Blount laid on him.

Both Blount and Hall make valid point about only playing one side of the field, but you can't argue with a ring can you?  After all it is a team game and who wants to be the best player on a shitty team?

All of the back and forth got me wondering who is the best corner in the league?  Is it Talib or Sherman?  Or someone else?
