The Panthers jumped out to a 35-7 lead and despite the hopes and prayers of Joe Buck they hung on for the 38-35 win.  They are still fighting for home field throughout the playoffs

Derek Jeter sat down with the large pile of crap that goes by Joe Buck for some show of Buck's.  Jeter talked about the gift basket rumor and denied it, he didn't deny the fact that he had ladies visiting him.

Jeter has now settled down and is currently engaged to swimsuit model Hannah Davis.

Now that Jeter has retired he seems much more willing to discuss some of the rumors that were out there while he was playing.

The gift basket rumor always struck me as an odd thing to do and I'm glad he denied it.

The best team Joe Buck has ever seen in his 18 years of covering the World Series won it.  I'm afraid the excitement was too much and Buck needs some new underwear.

The Royals tied the game in the 9th, after Matt Harvey begged to stay in the game, and then won it with a 5 run 12th.  A 12th inning that was helped along by another Daniel Murphy error.

Please send Joe Buck some new underwear at your earliest convenience!

In what has to be a completely insane comment, Joe Buck said this about the Royals, “I could make the case that this is the best team I’ve covered.”  Do I even need to get into why this is an insane comment?

This is his 18th World Series and he expects us to believe that this Royals team is better than the Yankees teams from the late 90s?  His love for the Royals made him forget about the Yankees.

Christopher Russo pointed out the Yankees to Buck and only then does he remember those teams.

Come on.

Buck clearly meant to say this is his 18th World Series and he hasn't been more in love with a team than he is with the this Royals team.  He has after all spent the entire World Series doing his best to show just how he loves the Royals.

We all know his true feelings for the Yankees.  Those feelings must have spilled over to the Mets too.

The best moment of the entire all star game came before the game, when Derek Jeter kicked Joe Buck out of the locker room.

Staged or not it's still fun to see Joe Buck be put in his place.

As a fan of the New York Yankees and as a person who has forced myself to sit through Joe Buck broadcasts, I can honestly say this is exactly what I think of him.  Unfortunately it's from the comedy site Funny or Die.  So I'm a little upset it isn't real and even more upset that I might have gained some respect for Joe for even doing it.

While I despise the fact that the Red Sox won the World Series last night there is some joy to be found.  Tim McCarver has called his final game!  Finally we no longer have to put up with his rambling incoherent thoughts.

No more of this?  Come on how will we cope?



Unfortunately we still have to put up with Joe Buck and probably for many, many more years.

The Cardinals beat the Red Sox in game 2 of the World Series, 4-2.  Here is Joe Buck and Tim McCarver recapping the game.  If you can sit through those two you're a better person than I am!

Like an old incompetent John Madden, somehow Fox still throws Tim McCarver out there to announce baseball games.  It takes a toll on all of the people who try to watch the game and it has clearly taken its toll on Joe Buck (who by the way isn't much better than McCarver).

But at least with Joe Buck he doesn't constantly refer to old players who nobody's ever heard of like McCarver does.  Or somehow relate everything to when he played.  We get it Tim you're old, now shut the hell up!  Via Deadspin:
