Brock Osweiler is an idiot.  All the proof you need is his recent comments about Tom Brady.  He seemed to call the Patriots quarterback a puppet.

John Elway didn't sound like he was very happy with Brock Osweiler's decision to sign with the Texans.  In fact he sounded a little butthurt in the statement he released, via USA Today Sports:

“We’ve stayed true to our philosophy of building a team with players who want to be Denver Broncos and want to be here. That’s been a successful approach for us," Elway said in a statement.

Rumors are that the Broncos' plan B, if they don't re-sign Brock Osweiler, is a trade for Colin Kaepernick.  They might as well have begged Peyton Manning to not retire.

Kap does have a stronger arm, he is younger and he can run.  But he sucks.  He's not accurate and teams have figured his running game out.

So good luck.  Maybe they meant plan B like they were aborting their season.

Brock Osweiler probably saved himself a few million dollars by not fighting back yesterday when some jabroni attacked him at a pizza place.  The tough guy took a shot at the free agent QB.

Despite his noted struggles in the playoffs Peyton Manning will get the start in the Broncos playoff game next week.  That almost half of football and 9 passes last week convinced the Broncos to go with Peyton.

You have to wonder how long he'll stay in there if he struggles at all.  I personally would have gone the other way and let Brock Osweiler start and then yanked him if he shit the bed.

Interesting decision in Denver.

Peyton Manning came into Sunday's game against the Chargers in the 3rd quarter to "provide a spark."  He did just that leading the Broncos to a comeback win that locked up the number one seed in the playoffs.

I honestly thought Manning had thrown his last pass in a Denver uniform.  I also thought Brock Osweiler would play in the playoffs.

Neither one of those look likely now.  As long as Manning doesn't turn the ball over I think he'll play.  His HGH must be working, allegedly.

Broncos running back C.J. Anderson scored the game winning touchdown on a 48 yard run in overtime.  The run capped a snowy comeback for the Broncos and ended the Patriots unbeaten record.

The injured Patriots blew a 21-7 lead in the 4th quarter.  They also saw tight end Rob Gronkowski get carted off of the field with a knee injury.

With two wins in a row, Brock Osweiler, is the new media darling.  He seems to be more comfortable than Peyton Manning running Gary Kubiak's 1980's offense.  So I'm sure that will spark talk that he should start even when Manning is healthy.

Peyton Manning set the all time NFL record for passing yards, early in Sunday's loss to the Cheifs, then threw 4 interceptions and was benched for Brock Osweiler.  Manning was 5 of 20 for 35 yards and 4 interceptions.

Manning wasn't happy when the game was stopped to acknowledge his accomplishment and will be even more upset with his performance.

The up and down game perfectly sums up his season to this point.  Manning has looked old and near the end at times this season struggling to throw the deep ball and he's also looked like the Manning of old.

I'm pretty confident Manning will be back in the starting lineup next week.  But you have to wonder if the Broncos will keep him in there if he struggles again.

Clearly Peyton Manning isn't on his backup Brock Osweiler's fantasy team.  Because he wasn't too happy to see Manning running on to the field in a 41-10 game.

It's the backup's job to play a little bit in a blowout.  Manning had other ideas.  He probably had some things he "needed" to work on.
