During last night's loss to the Lakers, Pelicans star Anthony Davis missed a wide open dunk.  There is no excuse for that at his height.

Anthony Davis revealed after the Pelicans win over the Warriors that someone on the Warriors called the game a scrimmage.  He said they took the comment personally.

I guess they did, the Pelicans won the game 103-100.  The win gave the Pelicans a half game lead for the 8th spot in the current Western Conference playoff standings.

New Orleans is glad to have Anthony Davis back on the floor, especially when he's throwing down alley-oops like this.  Davis jumps out of the gym to grab this one and finish it strong with two hands.

It looks like the Pelicans are going to finish the season on the wrong side of the playoffs, but that doesn't mean they can't finish strong.

It was a tied game at 113 between the Pelicans and Thunder in Oklahoma City when Anthony Davis nailed a buzzer beating three.  Davis doesn't take many shots from beyond the three point line but was able to sink this big one.

It didn't look like Davis was the first option on the play but he was the only one to get open.  He added a little double clutch action and with the power of the unibrow was able to win the game.

The New Orleans Pelicans used plays like this Anthony Davis put back slam to beat the Atlanta Hawks 115-110.  The loss ended Atlanta's win streak at 19 in a row.

The eyebrow couldn't be contained and it cost the Hawks their win streak.

Manu Ginobili tried to take his man to the rim and pretty much did so but he didn't account for Anthony Davis.  Davis swatted Ginobili's shot into next week.  The huge block should serve as reminder to Ginobili to account for Davis next time.

Earlier this week the Pelicans took on the Portland Trail Blazers and the Blazers had a tough time shooting on Anthony Davis, even away from the basket.

Davis showed off his shot blocking ability, he blocked back to back shots without getting his feet set on the second one.
