The Yankees announced that Mark Teixeira will be holding a press conference today at 3pm.  According to Buster Olney, Tex will be announcing his retirement.

All I can say is it's about time.  He's having another injury filled, underachieving season.  Why wait until the end of the season?

Go ahead and take your crippled ass to the house.
