In an episode of Real Sports on HBO that airs tonight at 11pm, Charissa Thompson talks about her attempt to be taken seriously as a sports journalist.  I think blonde or not she's accomplished that and there are plenty of examples of both attractive and unattractive people making a pretty good living covering sports.


But she does make a pretty good point when she talked about a couple of Deadspin articles that reacted to her dying her hair.  Wherever there are a large group of people, and sports attracts a large group of people, you're going to run into a wide range of opinions on just about everything.

Why can't she be an awesome journalist and drop dead gorgeous?
