Derek Jeter subtly confirmed that he is engaged to model Hannah Davis in a Players' Tribune post.  Jeet disguised the post as about his dog Kane.

In large part the post is about his dog, but hides a little nugget in the post.  The dog was a Christmas gift from Davis, who he says is his fiancee.

Kane is an Italian Mastiff. This is Kane at 10 weeks old, on one of his first days home last January.

I had no idea what I was in for as a new dog owner. He was a Christmas gift last year from my fiancée, whose family had Mastiffs growing up. I’ve never owned a pet in my life.

It's exactly how you'd expect the very private Jeter to confirm a rumor.  Retirement is going well for the Captain.
