The Boston Red Sox and their terrible season continues. This season can't end soon enough for the team that won the World Series. During Saturday's game in Tampa, Rays second baseman Logan Forsythe was attempting to tag up and slide into second base when he struck Dustin Pedroia in the side of the head with an elbow.

It's hard to say what Forsythe was trying to do here aside from elbow Pedroia in the head. You usually don't lift your arm and swing your elbow during a head first slide unless that is some sort of new move.

The "accidental" elbow to the dome forced Pedroia to leave the game.
